Frequently Asked Questions

We have collected answers to the questions that most often come up before choosing a kitten or an adult cat. It matters to us that you are ready for your pet’s move, and that the move itself is calm and gentle for the cat.

What should future owners know?

We are always happy when people are interested in our kittens and adult cats, and we try to keep communication clear and calm. Our transfer and care conditions are not just a formality: they are meant to protect the safety, health, and quality of life of our cats after they move. Below are answers to the most common questions and the main cattery rules.

How do I choose a kitten, and can I meet one in advance?

We do not have a format where you come, see all the kittens, and choose one on the spot. First, a kitten is chosen based on photos and videos. If needed, we can make additional materials: how the kitten moves, plays, looks up close, and interacts with people. This is calmer for the kittens and helps us keep their usual routine. We try to treat the kittens gently and do not arrange introductory visits without choosing a specific kitten first. Usually, a kitten is first chosen by photos and videos, and then we discuss a possible meeting. If you like a kitten, you can ask for additional photos or videos. It is best to say what exactly you would like to see: the color, the face, movement, behavior, how the kitten plays, or how the kitten interacts with people.

What should I do if I have allergies?

There are no completely hypoallergenic cats. Siberian cats are often tolerated more easily, but the reaction is always individual and depends on both the person and the specific animal. If you have allergies, first a specific kitten is chosen based on photos and videos, and then we can discuss a meeting on neutral territory. This is the most accurate way to understand your reaction to this particular kitten.

Where are the kittens located?

The cattery is collective: Moscow and the Moscow region, including Korolyov. The kittens do not all live in one place, so we do not have a format where you can see all of them at once.

How does the kitten move to a new home, and is delivery possible?

Kittens are handed over in person. We ask future owners to come and pick up the kitten themselves. This is less stressful for the kitten, because the person taking them home is already their future owner. It is important to us that the move is as calm as possible for the kitten. When the kitten is picked up by their future owner, it is easier for them to begin adapting and to handle the journey more calmly.

What does it mean when an adult cat is looking for a home?

Sometimes adult cats look for a new home after finishing their breeding work. This does not mean that something is wrong with the cat. For an adult cat, it is especially important to choose the right family and calm adaptation conditions. Requirements such as “no other cats”, “no small children”, or “no free outdoor access” are not random: they help reduce stress, avoid conflicts, and give the cat a good, safe life after moving.

What procedures does a kitten have before moving?

All kittens receive the necessary age-appropriate procedures and move to their new homes healthy and ready to adapt. Before the move, we explain what has already been done and what should be considered next regarding care, feeding, and veterinary support.

What should I know about sterilization?

We understand that sterilization can cause concern. The procedure is performed using modern methods. Self-absorbing sutures are used, so they do not need to be removed or treated separately. Recovery usually goes smoothly.

What documents come with the kitten, and how can I receive the pedigree?

The kitten comes with a veterinary passport. It includes the vaccinations and other necessary health records. The pedigree is provided separately after the kitten is sterilized. The pedigree file itself is paid for separately — this is a general cattery rule for all kittens.

How can I find out the price of a kitten?

The price depends on the parent pair, color, the kitten’s individual features, possible unforeseen circumstances, and transfer terms. Current terms are discussed personally after a specific kitten has been chosen.

How does reservation work?

After choosing a kitten based on photos and videos, we fix the reservation. Then we calmly agree on the timing, preparation for the move, and all important details.

What should I prepare before the kitten moves?

Before the kitten moves, it is best to prepare: - a carrier; - a litter box and litter; - food and water bowls; - familiar food for the first days; - a scratching post; - safe toys; - a quiet place for adaptation. Before the move, we will advise what is best to prepare at the start.

Are the kittens litter-trained?

Yes, the kittens are trained to use the litter box and basic home rules. After moving, the kitten will still need time to adapt, so it is important not to rush them at first and to let them settle into the new home.
